I've never seen BOSS Boeheim like this. Obviously a very emotional time for him and the Syracuse family. RIP Earl.

Box Score | Winning Team Recap (Conf) |
Syracuse 12 vs. Binghamton 5 | Syracuse Recap (ACC) |
College Crosse Recap.
An extremely focused Orange team raced out to an early lead against the Bearcats and never looked back. Syracuse opened the game with a 10-0 run and it was all over from there pretty much. Binghamton did not score its first goal until 8:25 in the 3rd quarter. While there was a bit of a talent difference between the two squads, Orange fans still have to feel good about this game, as SU blitzed the Bearcats and never let up until the game was comfortably in hand.
Syracuse was led in scoring by Nick Mariano (4 Gs & 1 A). Dylan Donahue also chipped in with 2 Gs and 1 A, while Sergio Salido also contributed with a pair of goals on the night. Ben Williams was excellent as usual, going 12/15 on the faceoff, and even got a goal by himself late in the 2nd quarter.
The Bearcats actually outscored the Orange 5-4 in the second half, but Syracuse had a lot of bench players on the field by the 4th quarter. Binghamton was led in scoring by Sean Gilroy (2 Gs & 1 A). BU's Thomas McAndrew, Matthew Kaser, and Mitchell Rick each had 1 tallie on the evening as well.
