Beast of the day:

  • North Carolina: FEAR THE TAR HEELS! North Carolina sent a message to fans across the Nation and certain bloggers in their Philadelphia apartment the elite east coast media, that the Chapel Hill well is far from dry. North Carolina dominated everywhere.
(Ed. Note: I seriously can't wait until Ryan and I tape our podcast. SHOUT OUT, BOSS BRESCHI!! #AccountabilityNight!)

  • Furman: All the credit to the Buckeyes. They repped the Big Ten well and gutted out a banger of a game. But shout out to the Paladins. This was without a doubt the best game of the day. It had it all; back and forth action, a LIIIIIIIIITTTTTT crowd, significant OSU fan presence, and great theater on the field. Despite the loss, Paladins fans should definitely be proud of the way their boys battled it out. #SoConLaxIsDope don't @ ME!

Hitters List:

  • Shawn Ewert, Jacksonville: The Dublin, Ohio native broke out with 3 goals and 2 assists in leading the Dolphins to a thrilling one point win over visiting Vermont. Way to go Fins!

  • Tristan Rai, Lehigh: Welcome to 2016, Mr. Rai! Tristan dropped 5 goals on NJIT yesterday. Which was problematic for the Highlanders, as they scored a combined 4 goals yesterday.

  • Patrick Keena, Navy: The Midshipmen needed all 6 of Patrick's points yesterday in their 10-6 win over Air Force. Keena threw in 3 assists to go with his hat-trick.

  • Grant Ament, Penn State: The Doyolestown, PA product (Ed. Note: Shout out, Haverford School!) had his first game yesterday. Though Grant's only a freshman he broke in the door, and waved the fo displayed the  temperament of a seasoned veteran yesterday. Grant messed around and grabbed 7 points to lead the Nittany Lions to a resounding victory over Robert Morris on Saturday.
