Lacrosse is booming in Idaho thanks to coaches like the Williams brothers.

Lacrosse is often called an 'East Coast' sport, because that's where the sport originated. But one family in Boise is trying to change that.

At Timberline High School you'll find an unstoppable coaching duo. They're pretty humble about it, too.

"We're decent," assistant head coach TJ Williams said. "We still have a lot of work to do, but we seem to be getting the job done the past couple years."

But the trophies these coaches have show the Timberline Wolves lacrosse team is more than just decent, they're the best in the state. The Wolves are back-to-back state champions: winning the 5A title in 2015 and 2016.

Marquette’s Joe Amplo and Danielle Josetti are honored at the IMLCA Convention.

Marquette University head men's lacrosse coach Joe Amplo and associate athletic director Danielle Josetti were each honored on Friday afternoon with major awards at the annual Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) Convention in Baltimore.

Amplo was honored as the USILA's Howdy Myers Man of the Year, while Josetti was given the Extra Man Award by the IMLCA for her help in growing the game and the MU program.

Additionally, BOSS Breschi won D1 Coach of the Year.

Our favorite BU Hitter, Marisa, with a great article about BU Recruiting.

“Be The Best”: “Legendary University of Maryland men’s lacrosse player and head coach, Bud Beardmore, has officially been inducted into the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) Hall of Fame.”

Lacrosse is booming in Alabama.
