Big news out of Virginia as the Cavs suspended starting goalie Matt Barrett for all of 2017. OFFICIAL COLLEGE CROSSE CO-MANAGER, The Kid Chris, wrote about the suspension and how it will affect UVA.

Shout out to Bobby Mo!! Robert Morris released its 2017 schedule which includes a trip down to UVA to play the Cavs.

Ouch!!: “The launch of the men's lacrosse program at Quincy University has been put on hold.”

Marty Bell, vice president for intercollegiate athletics, said first-year coach Christian Diaz submitted his resignation Monday. Diaz lasted less than two months on the job. His hiring was announced Sept. 12. "He just decided it wasn't working for him," Bell said. "I want to respect his privacy."
Diaz was not available for comment. Bell said Diaz's decision, coupled with the current financial situation of the university, forced the suspension of the start of the lacrosse program. QU was expected to field its first team during the 2017-18 school year.

The Colorado Mammoth honor head coach Dan Stroup on his induction to the Canadian Hall of Fame.

“As soon as I saw that they weren’t going to send a double team I just decided to attack the basket and got an and-1,” Embiid said about his play late in overtime to give the Sixers the lead.

“I want to be the best player. And every time I step on the court I think I’m the best player. “If the team needs me to do that kind of stuff, I think I still have a long way to go, but I can do those type of things,” Embiid said about closing out games.
