Our favorite BU Hitter, Marisa Ingemi, blessed us again with a great post on the Bucknell Bison.
Former Johns Hopkins University commit, Connor Shellenberger, announced that he’ll play for UVA.
He says the style of play new UVa head coach Lars Tiffany runs was a big factor in his decision. Tiffany coached Brown University to the NCAA semifinals last year and had the top scoring team in the country averaging 16.3 goals per game.
Shellenberger says, "Last year their top three scorers (at Brown) were attackmen, so being an attackman fits right into what I want to do, I want to go to UVa, I want to score goals, I want to win national championships, My parents, my family are real excited to see me come home but really it was just the style of play of the coaches, right when I stepped on campus I felt an instant bond."
Here’s another post on Connor’s decision to go to UVA.
Former Syracuse women’s lacrosse player, Addy Tuaro, filed a lawsuit against the school and head coach Gary Gait, “charging both with negligence and reckless conduct that led to a personal injury.” A copy of the 3-page complaint can be found here.
