Great article about a lacrosse/football player, Charlie Jackson, overcoming adversity.
"He's an inspiration to everybody, including the coaching staff and the adults in the community," said Todd John, Jackson's coach on Highland Park's JV Blue team. "He's probably one of the best athletes we have in this program. He changes the course of football games whenever we put him in."
The course of Jackson's life changed on July 18, 2014, when the all terrain vehicle he was driving while at a birthday party at a Glen Rose ranch hit a sharp turn on a wet road and flipped. His left arm was caught under the ATV as it skidded, breaking his arm and severing an artery.
