Marist held their fifth annual Eddie Coombs Tournament this past weekend at Hatboro-Horsham High School. Horsham, Pennsylvania is the hometown of former Marist Red Fox Eddie Coombs. The ETC Fall Lacrosse Tournament is held each year to honor the late Marist men’s lacrosse midfielder, Edward Coombs, who tragically passed away in August 2011 prior to the start of his sophomore year. Texas is not feeling lacrosse: The University Interscholastic League (UIL), an organization that creates rules for and administers almost all athletic contests for public primary and secondary schools in Texas, conducted a survey asking respondents whether they were in favor adding lacrosse or water polo as an UIL sanctioned sport. 80% of respondents rejected the idea ... only 57% rejected the idea of adding water polo.

Keys began playing lacrosse 21 years ago at a boarding school in the United Kingdom. She made her first international debut in 1999 for Wales and featured for them for 12 years, twice at the Lacrosse World Cup.
