What’s going on, College Crosse Nation?! Thanks for making us a part of your day! Here are your links for October 14, 2016.

Hey everyone, before we get to the links I just wanted to share some housekeeping notes. As we move through the fall ball season and into the preseason/2017 season you’ll be seeing some changes at CC. Most notably our great contributors (Marisa, Jason, Adam, Hoya, & Jake) are now labeled columnists. They’ll have more freedom to write posts on things they find interesting and when those posts go up; we believe you’ll enjoy what they have in store in the coming months.

Additionally, we are going to start posting more videos through Facebook Live. We’ll Tweet out when we we’re about to post the videos and then put those videos on our Facebook page. As mentioned earlier this week we’re going to put up some videos of the Headstrong University City Classic this weekend, so be on the look out for those. Moreover, we are also going to have more podcasts and are working on The Kid Chris having his own podcast show as well. (Ed. Note: OH BOY!)

We have a few other things in store as well but those are the major things that I want to highlight. 2016 was a great season but we think you’ll enjoy what we have planned for 2017 even more.

#TeamThree hastag.

The number three used to adorn the jersey that Robby Schartner wore for the Manhattanville College men's lacrosse team. Now, since his death, that number has been held up as a way for family and friends, and the lacrosse community around the country, to honor his memory and advocate against drunk driving.

The hashtags #TeamThree and #RS3 have spread through social media as mourners remember Schartner, a 21-year-old junior at Manhattanville who was struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver in White Plains early Sunday.
