If you frequent those Laxpower streets like I do, you might have read some disconcerting news the last few days in the JHU thread. Today Hopkins confirmed that senior midfielder Connor Reed will miss the 2016 season after suffering a season-ending injury in practice in a non-contact drill.
This is obviously a tough break for the program. Reed started every game at midfield for Hopkins last year and was projected by many to start in 2016. However, it is even tougher news for Connor. We wish Reed the best and hope he has a swift recovery. The Arlington, VA native was always a pleasure to watch and pursuant to the Hopkins release, he is planning on playing in 2017.
Get well soon, Connor. The Nation looks forward to seeing you balling out there again soon.
