Here are your highlights for today:

  • Marquette at Notre Dame: Math doesn't like this spot much for Marquette -- the Massey ratings only give the Eagles a four percent win probability today with a mean margin of defeat of over seven goals -- and the Irish's rage over the last few weeks supports math's position. If Marquette is going to drop Notre Dame at Arlotta today it's going to take a massive effort from the Eagles, one that surpasses the kind of performances that Marquette has exhibited throughout the year. Throwing hands with the meanest son of a bitch in the room requires a heightened degree of strength and power, and toppling the Irish in South Bend necessitates some kind of insanity that the Eagles haven't quite touched yet this season.
  • Harvard at Boston University: A Terriers win wouldn't be an upset as much as a light 'dog bagging a kill against a neighbor. The Crimson are coming off of a bonkers and seemingly impossible victory against Cornell this past weekend and need to watch their six if they hope to string together consecutive wins after suffering through a painful four-game losing streak that stretched over the last half of March. This is a good spot for Boston University and the game could provide some evening heat.
  • Marist at Hofstra: This thing could go sideways in a hurry. There isn't necessarily a "better" in this game as much as there's a "they will play each other." These kinds of late season nonconference games between somewhat ignored teams are often great fun, if only because there isn't a governor on the engine and things are allowed to spin out of control as fast as possible.

Here's Tuesday's full schedule. Please let me know if there are errors. I'll fix/populate links to live stats and video as the day progresses (if necessary).

This is your open thread for Tuesday. I rooted for the rims last night. People will be around to yak about whatever is tickling their fancy. Also, if you haven't yet, give a "like" to College Crosse over on Facebook and make sure to give a follow @SexyTimeLax on the Twitter machine.
