Acrosse the College Lacrosse Polls: March 9, 2015

Aggregating the media and coaches polls, and generally making life terrific for everyone.

These pieces are usually more substantial, but as everyone is still kind of idling in the driveway, it's really hard to make internal combustion when you're just holding a can of gasoline and a bucket of screws. So, you get what you get at this point.

The media and coaches polls are out and things are kind of:

  • In the media poll, Syracuse took home 19 first-place votes -- a four-vote increase over last week -- while North Carolina (five) picked up the remaining top tallies. New to the poll this week are Brown and Holy Cross while Pennsylvania and Colgate fell out of the top 20.
  • In the coaches poll, Syracuse earned 11 first-place votes while North Carolina was placed at the top of one ballot. New to the poll this week Holy Cross while Colgate exited the top 20.

Below is an aggregation of both the coaches and media polls. I'm holding off on featuring computer-type rankings until next week.
