Here are your highlights for today:
- Lafayette at UMBC: It's hard to get excited about this one, even if it has been a day since lacrosse has attempted to melt your face. Lafayette is a depressing 1-7 and has only managed to beat Wagner this season; in the Leopards seven losses the team has managed to get the margin of defeat at three goals or less only three times (at Colgate, Pennsylvania, and at Sacred Heart). UMBC, meanwhile, is excited about popping for 11 goals on Mount St. Mary's on Tuesday, the first time this season that the Retrievers have deposited at least 10 buckets in one game. There isn't a lot of juice on this thing and that's to be expected. Perhaps the best reason to watch is to see if the robot apocalypse finds its genesis at UMBC Stadium tonight, shedding the first human blood that will eventually ends with robots attempting to turn humans into toasters? Yes.
Here's Friday's full schedule. Please let me know if there are errors. I'll fix/populate links to live stats and video as the day progresses (if necessary).

This is your open thread for Friday. I don't know why I decided to move over three weekends, but I did. People will be around to yak about whatever is tickling their fancy.
Also, if you haven't yet, give a "like" to College Crosse over on Facebook and make sure to give a follow @SexyTimeLax on the Twitter machine.
