Sunday Post: 'Second Season' Creates New Stars

Sammy Gravitte grew up in polar-opposite cultures. On one end, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Princeton sophomore longstick middie was around sports. A few weeks ago, he was starring at Princeton’s McCarter Theater in a show called "Spring Awakening" when his mother, Tony Award-winning actress Debbie Gravitte, had to take him to the Tigers’ game at Maryland on March 7, and got him back in time for the show that night.

Marquette's Magic Runs Out in 10-9 Loss at Georgetown
Marquette's magic mix of second-half comebacks, one-goal wins and, up until Saturday afternoon, undefeated record in the program's third varsity season, finally met a situation it couldn't overcome in a 10-9 loss at Georgetown. But the Golden Eagles were this close to doing what they do again.

Coholan Strike Lifts Virginia Over Hopkins in OT Thriller
With the way both offenses kept surrendering the ball and the way neither defense could string together stops, last night's shootout between No. 7 Virginia and No. 17 Johns Hopkins fittingly was decided on the game's final possession.
