College Lacrosse Headquarters: Schedule, Viewing Links, & Open Thread (February 8, 2015)

Today's schedule, links to streams and live stats, and more.

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

This feels right for a Sunday:

Here are your two highlights for today:

  • Air Force at Duke: A pretty decent argument can be made that Duke's toughest game of the weekend came yesterday against High Point, even though the Falcons were an NCAA Tournament participant last season. Air Force is recalibrating its universe after some sizeable offensive losses due to graduation, and the team's date with a depleted Devils team in Koskinen isn't exactly the kind of way to test the temperature of the program's boil. Duke, meanwhile, is looking to create a little internal momentum before the Blue Devils meet Denver next weekend in Georgia in a massive early-season fist fight.
  • VMI at Navy: The Mids are 6-0 all-time against the Keydets with the two team's half-dozen meetings coming over the course of the last seven seasons. Navy has earned its victories against VMI by an average of almost nine goals per game, and anything less than a complete trouncing of the Keydets at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium would serve as an incomplete start to the season for the Midshipmen.

Here's Sunday's full schedule. Please let me know if there are errors. I'll fix/populate links to live stats and video as the day progresses (if necessary).

This is your open thread for Sunday. Eating tacos is a sport. People will be around to yak about whatever is tickling their fancy.

Also, if you haven't yet, give a "like" to College Crosse over on Facebook and make sure to give a follow @SexyTimeLax on the Twitter machine.
