In the office of the Albany lacrosse coach Scott Marr, awards pile up like dishes in the sink. The all-American plaques are scattered across shelves. Assorted trophies fill bookcases and boxes in the corner.

Reaction: Bucknell 8, Navy 7
Bucknell’s 8-7 victory over Navy on Saturday in Annapolis was the sixth one-goal games between the teams dating from 2005.

Analysis: No. 2 Notre Dame 17, Michigan 8
No. 2 Notre Dame outplayed Michigan in just about every phase of the game during a dominant 17-8 win in front of a capacity crowd inside the oasis of Oosterbaan Field House in the middle of a cold, snow-covered Ann Arbor.

Reaction: No. 4 North Carolina 13, No. 9 Johns Hopkins 11
Jimmy Bitter and Joey Sankey both surpassed the 100-goal career mark and led the fourth-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels to an 13-11 victory over No. 9 Johns Hopkins in front of a sideline crowd of 1,114 at Navy Field on Saturday.

Lyle Thompson Leaves Albany Win With Injury
Reigning Tewaaraton winner Lyle Thompson left with an injury during Albany’s 15-8 win against Drexel and did not return to the game.

Amazing Snow Lacrosse Photos
These are probably the most amazing snow lacrosse photos I’ve ever seen. Loyola and Holy Cross scheduled a lacrosse game on Saturday, and even though a snow storm was rolling in, they played it. That’s gumption! What resulted was an epic upset for Holy Cross, an exciting back and forth lacrosse game, and some of the best snow lacrosse photos I’ve ever had the pleasure of posting.
