Quint's Top 20: Duke at No. 8 After Surviving Weekend; ND On Top
Thirty-five of 69 Division I teams were in action this weekend. Detroit took down Ohio State, Colgate topped Bryant, Marquette stunned Lehigh, and Virginia won on the road at Loyola in the week’s most newsworthy games.

Reaction: No. 3 Duke 13, Air Force 7
The third-ranked and reigning NCAA champion Duke Blue Devils completed an opening-weekend sweep with a 13-7 win over the Air Force Falcons at Koskinen Stadium on Sunday.

Virginia Beat Loyola 13-12: Game Photos And Video
On a cold and grey day down in Baltimore, Virginia beat Loyola 13-12 to open up the season for both teams. This was the sole top ten match up of opening weekend, and UVa took the win over the Grey Hounds in a tight and exciting game. The first half saw both teams scrap for goals and neither team built up more than a one goal lead. After two quarters, the game was tied a 6 apiece.
