College Lacrosse Schedule for April 11, 2014

You haven't had lacrosse since Tuesday. Tonight you welcome lacrosse back into your life.

Instead of a Russian dashboard camera video/.gif, today we're going with Spencer in a stunt plane:

More on Spencer's adventure is here.

Anyway, there are a handful games today. Here are your highlights:

  • Duke at Virginia: The only thing that's clear about the ACC at this point is that (1) it's a league, (2) it will hold a tournament that will feature four teams (but those teams aren't exactly set in stone), (3) John Swofford is a sadist for bringing this six-team . . . whateveritis . . together for one perfect season of absolute horror. Virginia is playing for the opportunity to not be a sideshow at PPL Park, and the odds aren't all that fantastic for the Cavaliers to get the job done at Klocker Stadium tonight. ESPNU has the broadcast tonight and hopefully the game will look a little unlike Duke's recent curb-stompings of everything that has stood in the Devils' way.
  • Yale at Brown: Ivy League play is half over and Bruno finds itself in a tough spot: At 1-2 with a win against Princeton and losses to Harvard and Pennsylvania, the Bears are running short on rope to climb into a top-four position on the conference table. Brown is a 'dog tonight -- a notable 'dog -- and is going to need to come correct against a Yale team looking for a third win that would platform the Elis well before a regular-season ending date against Harvard. There aren't very many tomorrows left for either team, but Brown is more desperate for an Ivy win at this stage of the season.

Here's today's full schedule with links to things so that you can monitor the carnage:
