This feels right on a Sunday morning/afternoon:
Here are your highlights for today:
- Virginia at Maryland: Virginia has a conference game in hand -- the Cavaliers are the only team in the league to have not yet played at least three ACC dates -- and that makes this afternoon's trip to Maryland all that more important for Virginia: A win brings the 'Hoos to 2-1 in conference play; a loss drops the 'Hoos to 1-2 with consecutive games against North Carolina and Duke lying in the weeds. Getting in the ACC Tournament may be more difficult than earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament, and Virginia has more on the line today in Byrd than the Terrapins.
- Mercer at Wagner: The Bears are assured of a non-losing season -- what would be their first -- if they beat the Seahawks today on Staten Island. Mercer's wins this season aren't the kind that allows you to ride go karts on rainbows -- against Boston University, Richmond, VMI, High Point, and Lafayette -- but the fact remains that the Bears haven't had a lot of success in those types of games in the past. While making a run at the Atlantic Sun title may be in Mercer's windshield, locking up a non-losing season may be more impressive in the overall.
Here's Sunday's full schedule. If there are errors, please let me know. I'll fix/populate links to live stats and video as the day progresses (if necessary).

This is your open thread for Sunday. I haven't shaved in a month. People will be around to yak about whatever is tickling their fancy.
