One of the premier games of the weekend is going head-to-head with the announcement of the field of 68 hoopyball teams for the NCAA Tournament. That's . . . less than ideal. Lacrosse obviously needs a national television platform, but there is little chance that ESPNU's offering today is going to erode the monster audience that CBS -- and to a lesser degree, ESPN -- is going generate to with the announcement of the draw. College lacrosse lives in college basketball's shadow for three months, and the shade may not be any darker than it will be today.
