Johnnies win, eat only organic Hot Pockets, and more.

This is obviously your favorite site, but other people actually write important stuff sometimes. Now is that sometimes.

A Full Pint

McArdle and Cernuto lead Johnnies in opener
I have a feeling St. John's is going to play a lot of games like this over the course of 2014:

St. John’s (1-0, 0-0) relied on a trio of hat tricks from three familiar faces to put away the Crusaders (0-1) in their home opener. The Red Storm was led by senior attacker Kieran McArdle who finished the game with 3 goals and 4 assists. McArdle was named the Big East Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and he moved to second all time in St. John’s history with 103 assists for his career.

The Red Storm was also led by senior attackers Colin Keegan and Kevin Cernuto who scored 3 goals each. Cernuto also finished with 3 assists while Keegan finished with 1 assist.

Score-until-the-scoreboard-reads-zeros is a dangerous way to play, but the Johnnies have the firepower to potentially make it work.

Philly Steak and Cheese Hot Pockets recalled
Of course:

Nestlé USA has issued a recall of two varieties of Philly Steak and Cheese Hot Pockets because they may contain meat that has already been recalled by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The USDA recalled more than 8.7 million pounds of meat from the Rancho Feeding Corporation because it "processed diseased and unsound animals and carried out these activities without the benefit or full benefit of federal inspection."
