Schneider Rejoins UMass Lacrosse As Volunteer Assistant
University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse head coach Greg Cannella announced Doc Schneider has returned to the staff as a volunteer assistant coach on Thursday. Schneider previously helped Cannella during the 2010-14 seasons after he completed a stellar playing career with the Minutemen from 2006-09.
Conference Snapshot: Big East's Western Power (Men)
The Big East isn't exactly what it used to be. No, it changed when Syracuse and Notre Dame left for the ACC prior to last season. Only one team from the league, Denver, finished with an above .500 overall record in 2014, while the rest battled it out behind them and went a combined 35-56. But the conference does in fact boast what could be the preseason No. 1 team in the nation, albeit a program that is about as far west as it gets in NCAA Division I men's lacrosse.

Penn State lacrosse welcomes Royer Family
Penn State men's and women's lacrosse teams opened their doors this week to the Royer family from Morrisdale. Gavin Royer is a 5-year old boy battling a brain tumor, and the Nittany Lions signed him to the team.
