STORIES

2015 Men's Lacrosse Schedule Released
Today, the University of Virginia released the Men's Lacrosse schedule for the 2014-2015 season, and it features some heavy hitters. The Hoos were picked No.10 in the Inside Lacrosse 2015 Face-Off Yearbook Top 20, and they play seven of the other nine residents in the top ten. Please note all rankings used will be from this same list.

Conference Snapshot: Northeast Conference (Men)
The Northeast Conference has its lacrosse headliner in Bryant. The Bulldogs, on the national stage last May, upset second-seeded Syracuse and had Cinderella lovers imagining intriguing possibilities. But it took a long road to get there — 21 games, the most of any Division I team. Not that Bryant coach Mike Pressler minds. "You get better by playing games," he said. "That's been our M.O." More of the same this season as the Bulldogs play 15 games with two scrimmages in 2015 after forgoing any fall ball play against teams with different colored jerseys.

Manhasset (NY) 2017 G Brendan Haggerty will follow his father's path to Villanova lacrosse

2015 Preview: Colgate Raiders
Biggest Question Mark: Is it possible for Colgate to consistently earn double-digits in the wins column? Yes, every team wants to win consistently, but first a team has to prove they can win. Colgate has that part covered. Now they need to make that excellence an expectation rather than an aberration. (Ok, perhaps aberration is a bit dramatic, but you get the idea.)
