Winners & Losers: Recruits, Defense and All-Stars
A holiday weekend saw tons of recruiting action, with the Under Armour All-America game being held at Towson University.

Recruiting: 2016's to Duke, UNC, Hopkins, PSU; 2015's to 'Cuse, Cornell; 2014's to Denver, Harvard
As the summer circuit is in its peak, commitments have been rolling through with regularity. In this week's edition we have a plethora of relatively new 2016 verbals, big 2015 commits and a handful of '14 commits.

Players from the 2015 and 2016 high school classes — rising juniors and rising sophomores — have been invited to the event to put their skills on display in front of a long list of college coaches, many of them from the top Division I programs in the land.

Army's Buckley Tabbed 2012-13 Patriot League Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Army senior men’s lacrosse student-athlete Brendan Buckley has been named the 2012-13 Patriot League Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, as announced Tuesday by the League office. Buckley earned the prestigious honor after being named the 2013 Scholar-Athlete of the Year in his sport in the spring. The voting was conducted by one sports information director from each school around the League who could not cast a ballot for their own student-athletes.

Requiem for a Season: Michigan Wolverines 2013
Michigan’s 2012 season was really, really bad. U-M managed a single win – over a hapless Mercer squad – and lost uncompetitively in just about every other one. Close games against some of the weaker squads on the schedule prettied things up for a team that really had no business playing at the Division-1 level (though they fought valiantly with a club roster against really tough odds).
