Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2014 Team Captains
Quinnipiac University men's lacrosse head coach Eric Fekete has announced that four returning upperclassmen - Gill Conners (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), Brandon Kuring (New Milford, Conn.), Michael Sagl (West Islip, N.Y.) and Greg Pendergast (South Windsor, Conn.) - will serve as team captains for the 2014 season.

St. Paul's freshman Gordon orally commits to play lacrosse at UNC
St. Paul's freshman attackman-midfielder Mitch Gordon orally committed to North Carolina on Saturday night, according to Inside Lacrosse. Gordon, who is 6 feet 2 and 160 pounds, plays for the Baltimore Crabs club team. Gordon and the Crabs lost to the West Coast Starz, 11-10 in four overtimes, at the National Scholastic Club Lacrosse Association Championships at Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, Pa. In the 2014 division, the Crabs defeated the Starz, 11-4, for the title.

Fairfield men's lacrosse to join CAA in 2015
At least one Fairfield University atheltic team is heading to the Colonial Athletic Association.

UNC's AD mulling upgrades to Smith Center, Fetzer

The most pressing concern is an aging Fetzer Field that is home to the soccer, lacrosse and outdoor track programs. Justin Domingos has been named an assistant coach for the Boston University men's lacrosse program, head coach Ryan Polley announced on Thursday.

T.W. Johnson accepts new position at alma mater
After nine seasons serving the Hobart lacrosse program, including the past five as head coach, T.W. Johnson will return to his alma mater to serve as athletic administrator and lacrosse coach. A search for Johnson's replacement will begin immediately with the intention of hiring a new coach this summer.
