Duke and North Carolina are not just huge rivals in basketball, they're huge rivals in practically everything. That holds true in lacrosse as well, as the Blue Devils and Tar Heels have a heated rivalry with quite a storied history. Thanks to the unique setup of the ACC, tonight probably won't be the only time these two face off on the field. As a result, this rivalry tends to drag out throughout the season. Lately, Duke has flat out dominated this series (just wait until you see how the dots look like in this one), but overall UNC holds a lead in the series and has more titles throughout its history. Either way you shake it, it's one of the dates to circle on the lacrosse calendar each year. ESPNU will have the game to kick off its Wednesday Night Showcase series (last week's game was postponed), so be sure to tune in to this monster. Here's how Duke and UNC compare to each other this year in a few criteria through their storied history.
