There's not much better in college lacrosse than hearing the following words: "Virginia taking on Syracuse on a Friday Night at the Carrier Dome." It's usually one of the most highly attended regular season games in college lacrosse and almost always lives up to the hype as an exciting game to watch. Here's a look at how the 'Hoos and the 'Cuse look in terms of rankings and history as they renew their rivalry this weekend.

Just to clarify the dots for the rivalry: considering both schools have the same exact color scheme, orange dots represent Syracuse and navy dots represent Virginia. And yes, this was also the first time I knew that logo for Virginia existed.
