College Lacrosse Schedule for February 20, 2013

Just one game tonight, folks.

Winslow Townson

Let's pretend that I wrote something snappy and impressive in this paragraph. Not just the usual dreck of common observations or half-completed humorous ideas, though. No, something especially spectacular that you share on Twitter and Facebook and claim that it's not only the greatest thing you read today, but possibly ever. Yes, let's pretend that you're not reading this but, rather, something truly spectacular and amazing. This really is the best Internet computing page in the history of Internet computing pages.

Anyway, here are the evening's highlights:

  • Loyola at Towson (7:00 P.M.): Josh Hawkins isn't playing tonight for the 'Hounds, and after Loyola's effort this weekend against Delaware (a game in which the Greyhounds gave up tallies on about 24 percent of their defensive possessions, a small increase over the team's mark from 2012), Loyola may or may not feel the pain of the midfielder's absence against a Towson team that has really struggled to score on an efficient basis over its first two games against High Point and Johns Hopkins. Weird stuff happens in February, however, and anything is possible at Johnny Unitas Stadium tonight (including Unitas rising from the dead and going four-and-three for the hometown Tigers). It's worth keeping an eye on tonight, even if things potentially get a little ugly down the stretch. .
