Wolverines Fall to No. 15 Nittany Lions in Season Opener
The University of Michigan men's lacrosse team lost in its first regular-season game on Saturday (Feb. 9), falling to the 15th-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions, 11-6, at Oosterbaan Field House. Freshman Kyle Jackson (Sarnia, Ontario/The Hill Academy) led the Wolverines with two goals and one assist. Sophomore David McCormack (Terrace Park, Ohio/Mariemont) scored twice, and fellow sophomore Will Meter (Beverly Hills, Mich./Brother Rice) added a goal and an assist.
