Welcome to the New College Crosse

A lot of things are different now . . . and that's a good thing.

Alright, you champions of industry and swillers of fine brandy. You've had a day to experience the new SB Nation United, arguably the most important invention in the history of humankind (just ahead of cream cheese). I hope you like it; it's really going to change how you receive content (which is a good thing).

I just want to address a few things with everyone before the site dives back into regularly scheduled nonsense:

  • We know there are bugs. The network's crack staff of tech geniuses are working through things -- the wonkiness if viewing in Internet Explorer, some of the commenting/log-in issues, the fact that this site has a logo labeling the site as a pro football pursuit rather than one focused on college lacrosse, etc. I can tell you this: The network wants to hear your issues and they are knocking things off of their to-do list. So, if you're having trouble with the site -- both with bugs or just finding things -- let me know. Send an email. Tweet at me. Leave a comment. We're all figuring this out together.
  • I'm still learning the new platform. While things look drastically different for you, the back-end of this thing (in terms of how I generate and present content) was a big change. I ran through the beta period and felt pretty good about working in the environment, but live is a totally different paradigm. Allow me a little wiggle room here until I get this thing nailed down.
  • Make sure you're checking out SB Nation's other great sites. Of the 63 teams that will be playing Division I lacrosse next season, the network supports 14 sites dedicated to covering a school that participates in the cohort. Under the concept of United, we're going to do a better job of integrating lacrosse content across those sites and College Crosse, hopefully bringing you an unparalleled content platform.

I guess that is that. We're going forward with this thing (with you as the engine). If there's any way I can make this experience easier or better for you, please let me know.
