VMI Lacrosse Opens Fall Season with Practice
After spending the summer on the road, scouring the country for next year's recruits, the Virginia Military Institute men's lacrosse staff and team opened the fall season Friday with the squad's first practice of the 2012-13 academic year.

The Stache is Back! Hawks Set to Partake in Fifth Annual Catamount Classic
Head coach Peter Lawrence and the University of Hartford men's lacrosse team have announced that they will be taking part in the fifth annual Catamount Classic – Lacrosse for a Cure, marking the third-straight season that the squad participates in the event. All proceeds from the event will be donated to testicular cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Top Moment No. 4: Scalley’s Tally Sends Men’s Lacrosse Back To Championship Game
As big as Jen Semler's (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) goal in overtime was in the No. 5 Moment in our Top-20 Countdown, junior Andrew Scalley's (Arnold, Md./Archbishop Spalding) tally against Robert Morris in the Northeast Conference (NEC) Semifinals was bigger. Scalley not only helped the Mount complete a five-goal comeback, but the junior pushed the Mountaineers back into a conference championship game for the third-straight year to grab the No. 4 Moment in our Top-20 Moments Countdown.

Former Colonial Grosz Competed for Team Israel
Former Robert Morris University men’s lacrosse midfielder Mike Grosz had a unique experience this past summer as he was a member of the first-ever Israeli National Lacrosse Team, competing in over a dozen games while representing the Middle Eastern nation.
