Maryland-bound O'Connell is Chaminade's first Class of 2015 lacrosse commit
As first reported last night at, one of the nation’s premier programs, Chaminade High School (N.Y.), saw its first sophomore college commitment completed when O’Connell verballed to the University of Maryland.

Lacrosse Future Looks Bright with New Coach
Rev. Brian Shanley, O.P. was very optimistic as he spoke to the audience that attended the press conference welcoming new Head Lacrosse Coach Chris Gabrielli, and he had a reason to be.As he put it himself, "We are at a historical moment with respect to our lacrosse program. We are making the investments to have the facilities that we need to be a great lacrosse school."

Copelan Announces Lopes As New Volunteer Assistant
Fairfield University head men's lacrosse coach Andy Copelan announced today the addition of Alex Lopes as a volunteer assistant for the Stags. He will provide support for the day-to-day operations of the Stags lacrosse office and assist in practice and game planning.

Men's Lacrosse Announces 2013 Team Captains, 2012 Award Winners
Head coach Ben DeLuca announced that Steve Mock, Jason Noble, Rob Pannell, and Tom Trasolini will serve as team captains for the 2013 season. He also announced the award winners for the 2012 season, including Noble, who was named both the team's most valuable defensive player, as well as the team MVP.

BU lacrosse welcomes 2012-13 recruiting class
The Bellarmine University lacrosse program has landed a recruiting class of 10 incoming freshmen and one transfer for the 2012-13 season. It marks the first recruiting class for Bellarmine Head Coach Kevin Burns, who was hired just before the beginning of the 2011-12 school year.
