Fighting Irish Ranked Third In Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook
The University of Notre Dame men's lacrosse team is ranked third in the 2013 Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook preseason top-20 poll. Defending NCAA champion Loyola is No. 1 and Maryland, the 2012 national runner-up, is No. 2.

Coach Holtz Inks Nine In Early Signing Period
Nine prep lacrosse players have decided to take their talent to the Motor City as head coach Matt Holtz announced the signings of Kyle Beauregard (Clarkston, Mich./Notre Dame Prep.), Marcus Butters (St. Catharines, Ont./Denis Morris), Lucas Ducharme (LaSalle Ont./ St. Thomas of Villanova), Seth Horwat (Butler, Pa./Butler Area Senior High School), Matt Lee (Etobicoke, Ont./Everest Academy), Bryan Matney (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer), Kyle Pedwell (St. Catharines, Ont./Everest Academy), Adam Susalla (Birmingham, Mich./Seaholm) and Jason Weber (Whitby, Ont./Christ School – Asheville, N.C.). All nine will enroll as freshmen next fall.

Casertano and Dionne are D1 attackmen
These two guys are Division 1 attackman playing at the highest level of NCAA lacrosse. Josh literally has a highlight video dedicated to him and him alone. Both of these guys understand the importance of knowing about your pocket; lacrosse players have been left in the dark too long as the stringing process has become clandestine and elitist.

Students in the News: 2 Lacrosse Players Receive Scholarships
Westhampton Beach High School seniors Brian Corrigan and Casey Hickey have been recruited to play lacrosse at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. On Nov. 26, the pair signed their letters of intent and each will receive scholarships while playing for the Marist College Red Foxes lacrosse team.

Class One Q&A: Chris Walker
In the 14th entry in the question-and-answer series for Class One, the first recruiting class of the U-M men's lacrosse team, Chris Walker, a Brother Rice High School (Mich.) graduate, is featured. Walker played three years of varsity lacrosse and was named captain for his junior and senior years. During his junior and senior prep seasons, he earned All-America, all-state and all-Midwest honors. Additionally, he garnered all-Catholic League honors and Defensive MVP as a junior, and he was named to the North American Lacrosse Invitational All-Tournament Team as a senior.
