Mens Lacrosse Adds 11 to 2013 Roster
The Manhattan men's lacrosse team will welcome an incoming class of 11 new players to the squad for the 2013 season head coach Steve Manitta announced on Tuesday. A total of 10 freshmen and one transfer will join the Jaspers as they look to compete for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) title.

Fall ball did reveal one interesting moment when it came to the shot clock after a stall warning. Hopkins coach Dave Pietramala seemed a little miffed when one of his players shot the ball and the referees didn’t reset the count after the ball appeared to deflect off the goalie’s equipment. While this could be shades of things to come, it seems to be just one more subjective rule that the referees will be saddled with. They’ll miss some calls and that’s part of the game.
Wolverines Participate in Sixth Nick Colleluori Classic
The University of Michigan men's lacrosse team was defeated 16-8 by the Marist Red Foxes and 19-10 by the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers on Saturday (Oct. 6) in the sixth annual Nick Colleluori Classic at Ridley High School. The classic, which benefits the HEADStrong Foundation to combat blood cancer, is held in memory of the late Nick Colleluori.
