It’s Sunday Funday and we have five more games to finish up Week 5. The showcase game this afternoon is obviously Penn St. vs. Cornell. However, don’t sleep on St. Joe’s vs. Penn, as the final game of the Philly 4 Classic should be a fun one between the Hawks & the Quakers.

The Terps got some love from LocalDVM after beating Albany 14-13.
Syracuse lacrosse stays unbeaten with 15-9 win over Johns Hopkins.
Playing against one of its biggest historic rivals, Syracuse’s men’s lacrosse team lived up to its recent No. 1 national ranking Saturday, dominating Johns Hopkins 15-9 at historic Homewood Field.
ABC 22 did a segment on Vermont’s win over Dartmouth.
The Catamounts handed Dartmouth its first loss of the season. Vermont improves to 3-1 with its third straight win heading into America East conference play next weekend. Both Vermont and Dartmouth finished the afternoon with 14 turnovers. UVM won the ground ball battle, 23-19.

St. Leo lacrosse player Blake Crownover honored at Saturday’s match.
For 19-year-old Blake Crownover, lacrosse was more than just a game. It was his passion. “We figured out he played close to 600 games over his career,” said Ernie Crownover, Blake’s father. The Colorado native was a freshman at St. Leo University. He was a goalkeeper for the school’s lacrosse team, a biology major and a member of the Air Force ROTC program.
