It must have been the Leap Day or something because we’ve had a hectic couple of days in college lacrosse to close out February. Friday night’s games were great with Duke’s OT win over Richmond and a spirited Syracuse vs. Hobart contest, and the fun continued into Saturday as UMass dropped #1 Yale, Penn St. had an overtime thriller against Penn in Philly, & Michael Sowers broke even more records in Princeton’s win over Hopkins.
Not to mention that 3-0 Dartmouth (Yes, DARTMOUTH) might be a top 20 team by Monday thanks to their 14-5 win over UMass Lowell yesterday. Dartmouth had seven combined wins from 2016-2019, so things are definitely on the upswing in Hanover, N.H.
Below is the College Crosse Weekend Scorecard for Week 4. I will update this post later after the conclusion of today’s games. (Update: Post includes all scores from Sunday and more highlights.) Clicking on any any team will take you to that team’s official website. Clicking on the box score cell will take you to that game’s box score. Clicking on the recap cell will take you to the winning team’s recap. Below the table are some highlights from this weekend.
