We got a big day today with 23 games lined up. There was 24 games, but Jacksonville vs. Vermont has been postponed, no make-up date was provided.

Due to inclement weather in the northeast, the Jacksonville University men’s lacrosse game against Vermont has been postponed.

Syracuse took care of business versus Colgate yesterday defeating the Raiders 21-14. You can read Syracuse’s postgame recap here and check out the box score of the game here.

Chase Scanlan lit it up for Syracuse yesterday as he scored 7 goals in his Orange debut.

No. 22 is back on the field for Syracuse lacrosse, and from a historical standpoint it looks like he hasn’t skipped a beat.

New attack Chase Scanlan pulled on that fabled jersey, shrugged off the pressure and ripped Colgate for seven goals as the No. 6 Orange toppled Colgate 21-14 on Friday in the Carrier Dome.

I don’t know if I want to go so far as to declare the first game of the Andrew Stimmel era of Marquette men’s lacrosse to be a rousing success, but the 11-10 overtime victory over Cleveland State out in Ohio definitely was a success. Wins are wins, no matter how you get there.
