SAD: Lacrosse in Wolfpack’s past but not in near future.

But according to Boo Corrigan, the school has no immediate plans to add any sport — including men’s or women’s lacrosse. ”Sure, it would be something great to add personally,” Corrigan said. “But it’s not Boo Corrigan University, it’s NC State University.”

Junior attackman Joe Robertson will undergo surgery for a torn ACL and will miss the 2020 men’s lacrosse season, the team issued in a statement Monday a.m.

The lacrosse shot, invented by Bill Armstrong and made world famous by Mike Legg, has been in hockey for a long time. Players all around the world and at various levels of the game have successfully pulled it off. Yet NHL players hadn’t been brave enough to try on a regular basis until Svechnikov’s goal. Now, he’s done it twice, Filip Forsberg scored with it two weeks ago, and it’s becoming a thing.

Former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid finally captured his Super Bowl ring on Sunday night. Fans in Kansas City and at a bar in South Philadelphia went wild as the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers, 31-20, in Super Bowl 54.

Super Bowl ratings were up from last year.

The Super Bowl scored its first ratings increase in five years, with just under 100 million viewers on average watching Fox’s broadcast Sunday. The game drew an average of 99.9 million viewers and a 41.7 household ratings
