The 71st season of Ohio State men’s lacrosse begins on Tuesday night as No. 12 Ohio State welcomes Detroit Mercy to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center for its “white out” game. The first 500 fans who arrive at The Woody will receive a free “Buckeye Lacrosse” white-out t-shirt.

The University of Detroit Mercy men’s lacrosse team will look for another big road win as the titans make the short trip across state borders to battle the Ohio State Buckeyes on Tuesday ... Detroit Mercy will be playing its second game in four days, both on the road, but will enjoy home life after this with just three road games and nine home contests left on the docket.

SAD: Lacrosse in Wolfpack’s past but not in near future.
But according to Boo Corrigan, the school has no immediate plans to add any sport — including men’s or women’s lacrosse. ”Sure, it would be something great to add personally,” Corrigan said. “But it’s not Boo Corrigan University, it’s NC State University.”

From now through (maybe) Memorial Day weekend, everything begins to count for the Syracuse lacrosse team. SU wrapped up its preseason schedule Sunday with an 18-14 win over Yale at a scrimmage in the Ensley Athletic Center.
