Loyola took care of the Tigers and improved to 3-1 on the season thanks to their 15-6 victory over Towson last night. Here is the box score of last night’s game and here is Loyola’s recap of the win.

From the Brown & White: Lehigh adds three new faces to coaching staff.

As the Lehigh men’s lacrosse team welcomed three new coaches for the 2020 season, each coach is excited to share his respective expertise with the program. Jack Deragon and John Crawley were hired as assistant coaches, while 2019 graduate Eddie Bouhall rejoined the Mountain Hawks as director of lacrosse operations.

Caroline posted a great review of UVA’s game versus High Point.

The Cavaliers needed some late heroics, but the No. 8 Virginia men’s lacrosse team rallied for an exciting 18-15 win over the visiting High Point Panthers on Tuesday night. Fourth year Michael Kraus was fantastic with five goals and two assists, despite dealing with an illness. “First of all, what a huge effort by Michael Kraus,” head coach Lars Tiffany said after the game.

From the Daily Gazette: Defense making strides for UAlbany men’s lacrosse.

The progress has been incremental, but noticeable for the UAlbany men’s lacrosse team’s defense. The Great Danes were rocked in their season opener Feb. 15 against Cornell, allowing the Big Red to rack up 19 goals on 50 shots.

Gorillas in the mist: UMass lacrosse looking to upset No. 1 Yale at Garber Field.

The Massachusetts men’s lacrosse team will be looking for a major upset at home on Saturday when it takes on No. 1 Yale. The Minutemen (2-2) are coming off an 11-9 victory on Tuesday against UMass Lowell in a game that saw Gabe Procyk and Jeff Trainor combine for eight goals. However, there is always room for improvement in the eyes of UMass coach Greg Cannella.

Coming off a 19-10 win in its season opener, No. 10 Cornell lacrosse continued its winning ways, earning comfortable victories over Towson, 17-10, and High Point, 21-11 last weekend. Earning personal honors, several players had standout performances across the two matchups

What’s Up, New PhilaJersey?

I might have to cop a ticket to this: Kevin Smith heading home to N.J. for benefit show and opening of new podcast theater.

Kevin Smith launched the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Roadshow tour at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park on Oct. 19. He’ll be back in New Jersey in April to open his SModcastle in Leonardo and to host a benefit show in West Long Branch.
