The NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Final Four is coming to Philadelphia this weekend and a local university is calling for fans to white out Lincoln Financial Field. Penn State Men’s Lacrosse is making their first Final Four appearance in program history this weekend after a 21-14 win over Loyola Maryland Sunday.
Penn State men’s lacrosse will make its first-ever appearance in the Final Four of the NCAA tournament on Saturday. The game may be slated for the Saturday before Memorial Day, but the team still has one simple request for Nittany Lion fans who plan on attending the game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia: Wear white.

The two teams with the most boys lacrosse state championships, the Cherry Creek Bruins (6) and the Kent Denver Sundevils (5) took the field in a rainy game that turned into a blizzard midway through. Neither team took the upper hand staying even through the first half and into the third quarter before the weather turned from rain to snow.
Yale men’s lacrosse is heading back to the NCAA DI Final Four for a second straight year. The Bulldogs are trying to defend their 2018 national title, the program’s first in modern history. But before they got there, first, Yale had to take down Ivy League foe.

A new coaching regime delivered familiar results for the Onondaga Community College men’s lacrosse program, which captured its third-straight national title this weekend in Batavia, N.Y. First-year coach Eric Miccio starred on the front-end of OCC’s decade of dominance, winning two national championships for the Lazers in 2009-10. In his first season since taking over for Chuck Wilbur, the Lazers won their 12th lacrosse national title.
With the end of the year approaching, several high school sports leagues are gearing up for state championships this week, including men’s and women’s lacrosse. In recent years, women’s lacrosse leagues have faced the question of whether they should make helmets a requirement. The topic is contentious; some coaches and players believe helmets can help prevent concussions while others are adamantly opposed.
