Round one of the 2019 NCAA men’s lacrosse tournament starts in a matter of hours, so we’re back with another installment of pick’em.

To get you up to speed, here’s how to watch each game, a super in-depth preview of each contest by Chris, and, finally, our annual first round bingo card. Make sure to play along this afternoon with your beverage of choice.

Back to the picks. I’ve opened up an 8-game lead on Ryan and Chris, so technically this thing isn’t over, but they’re going to have to do serious work in the NCAA tournament to make it close.

NCAA 1st Round Picks

NCAA 1st Round Adam (61-39) Ryan (53-47) Chris (53-47) Safe (50-50) Jake (51-49)
NCAA 1st Round Adam (61-39) Ryan (53-47) Chris (53-47) Safe (50-50) Jake (51-49)
Syracuse @ Loyola Loyola Syracuse Loyola Loyola Syracuse
Georgetown @ Yale Yale Yale Yale Yale Yale
Army @ Penn Penn Penn Army West Point Penn Penn
Robert Morris @ Virginia Virginia Virginia Virginia Robert Morris Robert Morris
UMBC @ Penn State Penn State Penn State Penn State Penn State Penn State
Maryland @ Towson Towson Maryland Maryland Maryland Maryland
Richmond @ Duke Duke Duke Duke Duke Duke
Johns Hopkins @ Notre Dame Johns Hopkins Johns Hopkins Johns Hopkins Johns Hopkins Johns Hopkins

We’ve picked exactly 100 games so far this season, and somehow Safe is 50-50. Can’t make this stuff up, folks.

We’re all unanimous on Penn State to take care of UMBC, and Yale to beat Cryin’ Kevin and the Georgetown Hoyas. Then things get interesting.

Safe and Jake are both picking Bobby Mo to upset Virginia, while I’m the only one to go with Towson at home against the Terps. Chris was the lone person to pick Army over Penn. Loyola-Syracuse is split 2-3.

We all picked Hopkins to beat Notre Dame, which terrifies me, but what can you do. Go Jays. Enjoy what should be a great first round!
