Jake & I had a good time on last night’s Crossecast.

Welcome back folks to another episode of the College Crossecast. It was only Jake & I taping last night, as Ryan was a bit busy. In this episode we went over all of the games from the weekend, talked about the polls, & then discussed some of the news from this weekend/Monday (namely, the Wave Goal that went viral and the situation involving Albany and Tehoka Nanticoke).

As Albany Turns: Tehoka Nanticoke will play today versus UMass after being out of the lineup this weekend versus Cornell.

A “minor violation” of NCAA rules took University at Albany men’s lacrosse sophomore Tehoka Nanticoke out of the Great Danes’ lineup for Saturday’s one-goal loss at Cornell. Quickly, the question became how long Nanticoke would remain out. Monday evening, UAlbany got its answer — and Nanticoke will be in its lineup for Tuesday’s 3 p.m. home opener against UMass at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium after the sophomore “had his eligibility reinstated by the NCAA,” per a press release from the school’s athletic department.

Marquette junior goalie Chris Rolfing makes vlogs for the team.

Junior goalie Chris Rolfing found a new way of combining his academics and athletic passion this fall: vlogging.

During the fall-ball season, Rolfing filmed, edited and produced a video series to document the behind-the-scenes aspects of the men’s lacrosse program. He produced six videos in the series, and one of them attracted about 6,500 viewers on YouTube.

“I wanted to show the aspects of Marquette lacrosse that outsiders don’t see,” Rolfing said.

Speaking of Marquette, looks like the Golden Eagles are moving on up.

Rosters were announced yesterday for the PLL.

On Monday, the lacrosse world heard from the players.

In a creative release of the inaugural rosters for the Premier Lacrosse League, the players shared personalized Bitmojis on social media announcing their allegiance to one of six teams – the Archers, Atlas, Chaos, Chrome, Redwoods or Whipsnakes. One by one, the rosters were unveiled for each team.
