Check out Chris’ preview of today’s Duke vs. Syracuse game.

The Syracuse Orange conclude their season-opening seven-game homestand Sunday afternoon as they host the Duke Blue Devils in ACC conference play at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. Opening faceoff is set for 2 PM on ESPNU. Syracuse alums Anish Shroff and Paul Carcaterra, as well as former Duke midfielder Myles Jones, will be on the call (Live Stats are here). The Orange lead the all-time series 12-6 and have met every year since 2011. The two teams became ACC rivals when Syracuse entered the conference in 2014. Head coach John Desko is 9-5 all-time against the Blue Devils and has won the last three meetings.

Here’s coach Desko talking to the media about today’s game versus the Blue Devils.

Three in a row for the Terps after their big win over North Carolina yesterday.

In a game between two former ACC rivals, Maryland men’s lacrosse handled No. 19 North Carolina on Saturday, winning 16-9 in College Park.

The No. 4 Terps utilized a very balanced offensive attack in this one, with four different players finishing with hat tricks. Logan Wisnauskas and Anthony DeMaio each had career days, as Wisnauskas finished with four goals and four assists for a career-high eight points, while Anthony DeMaio had his first career hat trick, scoring four goals and adding an assist. Jared Bernhardt and Louis Dubick both had three goals, with North Carolina’s Timmy Kelly scoring four for the Tar Heels.

Adam Goldner’s last-minute goal lifts Penn men’s lacrosse over No. 8 Cornell.

Senior midfielder Alex Roesner rounded the back of the net as time ticked off the game clock, looking for a teammate. Then he found junior attackman Adam Goldner. Goldner collected Roesner’s feed and tactfully maneuvered around the goalie, setting up an opportunity for his fourth goal of the day and the game-winning shot. Leading the Quakers in scoring coming into the contest, the junior attacker was no stranger to the spotlight. Before the ball even left his stick, the Penn bench erupted in cheers, seemingly knowing the outcome of the shot prior to it reaching the back of the net.

Quadruple Frontier.
