The Merrimack Warriors are the 55th team in our 2020 men’s college lacrosse schedule preview series and the ninth team from the NEC. Merrimack was in Division II last season and finished 17-3 overall in 2019 and 10-1 in NE10 play. The Warriors lost to Le Moyne in the NE10 Championship, but defeated Mercyhurst, Adelphi, and Le Moyne all on the road before taking care of Limestone to win their second consecutive NCAA Division II national championship.

The Richmond Spiders are the 56th team in our 2020 men’s college lacrosse schedule preview series and the sixth team from the SoCon. Richmond finished 10-7 overall in 2019 and 5-2 in SoCon play. The Spiders defeated High Point to win their second consecutive SoCon Championship, but fell to Duke in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

#GrowTheGame: High school lacrosse player leads equipment drive.
A local lacrosse player is using the sport that gave him so much to give back to the community.
Friends and family of Logan Janik came together Sunday, Dec. 15, to help celebrate his life and legacy after he died in a tragic boating accident in May. The first Logan Janik Memorial Open Tournament was held at the Shipyard Park in Mount Pleasant. Nearly 200 lacrosse players from around the country came out to participate in the day long event.

US Lacrosse hosted Harlem Lacrosse for a two-day retreat.
Since its formation in 2011, Harlem Lacrosse has featured dramatic growth that has helped the organization reach more and more at-risk children each year. What started as one program in Harlem serving 35 children, has grown to serve over 1,300 children in 30 programs in five cities.
