UMass released their 2020 schedule yesterday.

The University of Massachusetts men’s lacrosse program and head coach Greg Cannella announced the team’s 14-game competitive schedule on Monday. The Minutemen will host six games on Garber Field, including against Harvard (Sat., Feb. 22), Yale (Sat., Feb. 29), Albany (Tues., March 3), LIU (Tues., March 10), Hofstra (Sat., April 4) and Towson (Sat., April 11).

Following exhibition games against Providence on Sat., Jan. 25 and at St. John’s on Sat., Feb. 1, Massachusetts begins the campaign with the annual rivalry matchup against Army on Sat., Feb. 8. The 2020 opener between the Minutemen and Black Knights marks the 10th consecutive season these sides start their respective campaigns against each other.

Check out Quinnipiac’s 2020 calendar here.

The Quinnipiac men’s lacrosse team and head coach Mason Poli announced the program’s schedule for the 2020 season – a 15-game slate that includes four home contests in Hamden.

The Bobcats will square off with two opponents that appeared in the final Inside Lacrosse Media Poll of last season, as Quinnipiac will travel to Rutgers (received votes) for the season opener on Feb. 1 while also squaring off with Yale (No. 2 nationally) in New Haven on April 21. Quinnipiac’s non-conference opponents combined to win 64 games in 2019.

Chris reviewed St. John’s 2020 schedule here.

The St. John’s Red Storm are the 51st team in our 2020 men’s college lacrosse schedule preview series and the sixth and final team from the Big East. St. John’s finished 4-10 overall in 2019 and 0-5 in Big East play. The Red Storm failed to qualify for the Big East Tournament and failed to win a conference game for the third straight season.

Great segment from WSBT on Notre Dame’s Tommy McNamara’s story of stopping a theft & his act of forgiveness.

Here’s a great article from Testudo Times on future Maryland lacrosse & football player Dante Trader, Jr.

Growing up, Dante Trader Jr. was quickly acquainted with the game of football thanks to his father being an assistant coach at Salisbury University.

When he was eight years old, his dad came to him with the choice to diversify his skill set with baseball or lacrosse, and he opted to pick up the lacrosse stick.

Great video from UMBC.

Inside Lacrosse reports that Rob Pannell is still “exploring all options” regarding his professional career.

Pannell’s Pro Future Remains Uncertain, “Exploring All Options.”

The season starts in less than two months!

What’s Up, New PhilaJersey?

I woke up this morning to find the Philadelphia Eagles in first place in the NFC East.

The Eagles were minutes away from their season falling apart on national television, but just when they looked to be dead, Carson Wentz reached back and pulled out a clutch victory, 23-17 over the Giants.
