Albany released their 2020 schedule yesterday.
The University at Albany men’s lacrosse team has announced a 2020 schedule that’s highlighted by a home game against Syracuse on Friday, April 3, at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium. The Great Danes’ season slate features seven home contests as well as road games at national powers Maryland and Yale.

The Albany Great Danes are the 32nd team in our 2020 men’s college lacrosse schedule preview series and the third team from the America East. Albany finished 5-9 overall in 2019 and 4-3 in America East play. The Great Danes fell to Vermont in the America East semifinals and failed to make it to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2012.
The Villanova Wildcats are the 31st team in our 2020 men’s college lacrosse schedule preview series and the fourth team from the Big East. Villanova finished 8-7 overall in 2019 and 3-2 in Big East play. The Wildcats knocked off Yale and Denver in the regular season, but fell to the Pioneers in the semifinals of the Big East Tournament in May.

Trash talk can make even the most confident among us lose their chill. Recent research underscores just how powerful these fighting words can be. A study presented at a conference on Robot & Human Interactive Communication in New Delhi in October found that trash talk trips people up, even if a it’s coming from robot.
