The Lehigh Mountain Hawks are the 30th team in our 2020 men’s college lacrosse schedule preview series and the third team from the Patriot League. Lehigh finished 9-8 overall in 2019 and 4-3 in Patriot League play. The Mountain Hawks defeated Boston University in the Patriot League semifinals, but fell short in the Patriot League Championship against Army West Point.

If you talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk: After Tweeting he could make a NLL team, Paul Bissonnette signed a tryout with the Vancouver Warriors.

Paul Bissonnette will have a chance to back up his lacrosse boast. Two days after tweeting that he could make a National Lacrosse League team without having ever played a game, the former NHL player signed a professional tryout Friday with the Vancouver Warriors.

From US Lacrosse Magazine: Team USA U19 bounces back after a loss to Culver with a nice win over the Hill Academy.

The U.S. U19 team huddled together in the Marriott University Area hotel ballroom on Saturday night. It wasn’t a film session. Coach Nick Myers and his staff wanted to regroup with a 32-man roster that had less than six hours prior played their first game as one unit.

Lars Tiffany honored by his former high school.

Growing up in LaFayette, New York Lars Tiffany never dreamed that the game of lacrosse would take him so many place. Tiffany, a 1986 graduate of LaFayette High School was honored by his peers on Saturday at the 4th annual LaFayette High School Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Time to adopt some lacrosse balls!

There is still time to adopt lacrosse balls for USA Luge’s fifth annual Running of the Balls benefit race when the Viessmann Luge World Cup comes to town Thanksgiving week. As the official newspaper of Running of the Balls, the News staff is excited to once again be part of this unique event. It’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for the U.S. luge team.
