The Jaspers released their 2020 schedule.

Head Coach Drew Kelleher has announced the Manhattan Men’s Lacrosse schedule for the 2020 season. “Each year we try to schedule in a way that helps us prepare for MAAC play,” said Kelleher. “We feel that this year as much as ever we will be challenging ourselves with our non-league schedule, so that we can be ready when we play our conference foes.”

Yale didn’t drop a press release yet, but you can also find their 2020 schedule on their website.

Check out Chris’ breakdown of Marist’s 2020 schedule.

The Marist Red Foxes are the 17th team in our 2020 men’s college lacrosse schedule preview series and the first team from the MAAC. Marist finished 10-7 overall in 2019 and 6-1 in MAAC play. The Red Foxes defeated Quinnipiac to win their third MAAC Championship, but lost to UMBC in the NCAA Play-In game.

Forbes did an article on Jessica Berman, deputy commissioner and EVP of business affairs of the NLL.

This past August (2019) the league announced the appointment of Jessica Berman, deputy commissioner and EVP of business affairs, making it the first professional men’s league to hire a woman in that position. Also, making Berman the highest-ranking woman in men’s professional sports leagues.

I really hope Ryan went out for this: NY Riptide lacrosse holds open tryouts ahead of December home opener.

Maryland women’s lacrosse head coach Coach Cathy Reese has an ice cream made in her honor.

Women’s lacrosse coach Cathy Reese let all her players take part in the tasting before the flavor debuted this past spring. Naturally, her creation includes Reese’s Pieces and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Reese joked the taste tests were the best part, adding how the ice cream that honors women’s lacrosse is “something that we can do that’s fun that can embrace the whole community.”
