The Hofstra Pride are the 12th team in our 2020 men’s college lacrosse schedule preview series and the second team from the CAA. Hofstra finished 5-9 overall in 2019 and 2-3 in SoCon play. The Pride failed to qualify for the CAA Tournament.

This Instagram post is titled “MeekXMarist” and I really love that.
The Marist lacrosse programs hosted the eighth annual Edward Taylor Coombs Fall Lacrosse Tournament at Tenney Stadium on Sunday, October 13. The event was a great success, as throughout the day it helped raise over $15,000 for the ETC foundation. The ETC Fall Lacrosse Tournament is held each year to honor the late Marist men’s lacrosse midfielder Edward Coombs, who tragically passed away in August 2011 prior to the start of his sophomore year. This is the fourth year in a row that Marist has hosted the event. Previously the event has taken place at Coombs’ alma mater, Hatboro-Horsham High School, in his hometown of Horsham Pennsylvania.

Here’s a nice article on former Terps superstar, Taylor Cummings.
Former Maryland and McDonogh lacrosse great Taylor Cummings, now a standout midfielder on the United States women’s national team, says it’s “incredibly humbling” every time she steps on the field representing her country. This weekend will be extra special.
