This summer, Syracuse Orange players Lucas Quinn and Natalie Wallon, along with Jacksonville Dolphins Pat Poulos and Evan Tyler, are spending the summer out west teaching the game of lacrosse. They’ve been in Bozeman for the past few days, as Nick Petraccione of MontanaSports.com reports:
Our buddy Grayson officially turned pro yesterday (and happy birthday 1987 sucks)!
Today I turned 40 and watched my son sign with an MLL team. What a day!!! pic.twitter.com/gR3gPIGSr9

I did “break” some news yesterday. I use that word very loosely because some of it was either going to be obvious or already reported but wasn’t seen by me.
Anyways, TD Ierlan to Cornell appears to be agreed upon from what I’ve heard. Just waiting for confirmation from Ierlan or from the team. There’s also this:
Also, not like this should qualify as a legit clue, but Ierlan did follow Cornell lacrosse's Instagram account not too long ago.

Second, Lehigh’s Errol Wilson is not returning. Marisa Ingemi first reported this on JUNE 3. So guess who’s late to that party? Inside Lacrosse’s Matt Kinnear reported on Wednesday he’s pursuing options outside of lacrosse.
Finally, and this I think hasn’t been broken yet, the Brown Bears are looking for two new assistant coaches.
Looks like Brown will need two more assistants as it appears Matt Callahan and Chris Schoenhut are out. Brett Holm is the only assistant up on the Bears' coaches page.

Canada will officially defend their gold medal from 2014 at this year’s FIL World Championships in Netanya next month. More from Inside Lacrosse’s Stephen Stamp:
NLTPA lawyer Richard Furlong has confirmed to Inside Lacrosse that the players association ratified the agreement reached between them and the CLA. Details of the agreement have not been reached, but the ratification means that Canada’s best players will be representing the country as Canada defends the gold medal it won at the 2014 championship in Denver.
Voting concluded at midnight Friday night among the 34 players in the training group for Canada’s team. The CLA has not yet announced the final 23 players who will comprise the national team roster.
Ratification of the agreement by the NLTPA and the CLA would mean that Canada’s top team, headed by coach Randy Mearns and his staff, will go to Israel. It would also mean that Canada will retain its ability to play in next year’s U19 women’s worlds, the 2021 World Games and the 2022 FIL men’s championship.

One Lakota West (Ohio) player is getting a lot of support after suffering an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a congenital disorder of blood vessels in the brain, last week. Scott Springer of the Cincinnati Enquirer has the details:
“This community has been amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it,” Matt’s mother, Julie Stratman, said Saturday. “My family and friends, Matt’s lacrosse family, the football family, basketball, it’s amazing how people come together for one kid.
”He knows this is going on; he has to know this is going on. We just ask for prayers, really.”
Senior defender Matt Kauffung and goalie Nate Joslin were key organizers of the event and among the numerous Firebirds armed with sponges and hoses.
”It was pretty much run by the lacrosse team,” Kauffung said Saturday of the car wash. “Me and Nate were like, ‘What can we do to help out Matt?’ We broadcast (the car wash) on Twitter. The football team, cheerleaders, executives, friends of Matt, family, it’s grown like crazy.”
